Floral Perch

Cut your sterling silver DC long oval link chain and 925/10 silver-filled figure 8 chain into pieces that are 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. Make sure you have about seven pieces of chain.

Slide a bead from the 4mm Crystal Mix Sapphire Ice Designer Blend onto a sterling silver 2 inch ball-end 24 gauge head pin and attach it to one of the pieces of chain by creating a wrapped loop. Repeat for all of your pieces of chain. You can add some variation by using a Bali head pin with granulation.

Open the loop of a 2-inch silver-plated 20 gauge eye pin and add your embellished pieces of chain. Close the loop. Slide the Gardanne Beads marine blue enameled brass small alpine flower bead cap onto the eye pin, followed by a Beadelle 6mm silver-plated crystal roundel bead and a TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter paloma bird bead. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the bird bead.

Open the loop on the French hook earwire with ball and attach it to the wrapped loop above the bird bead. Close the loop.

Repeat steps one through four to make the other earring.
