Unspool the Griffin silk bead cord in black from the card and loop the end of the cord around the TierraCast antique copper large hammered ring several times. Knot at the top of the loop.

Add a Dakota Stones purple garnet 4mm faceted coin bead to the cord and knot at the top of the bead.

Add a random pattern of seven Dakota Stones 8mm puff coin beads to the cord, knotting between each bead as you go. Add a 4mm faceted coin bead and knot at the top of the bead.

Add 15 8mm puff coin beads and knot between each bead. Add another 4mm faceted coin bead and knot at the top of the bead.

Add 29 8mm puff coin beads and knot between each bead. Continue the strand by making a mirror image of the bead pattern, knotting between each bead as you go. Try to choose the same pattern of 8mm puff coin beads for this side of the necklace, to create a symmetrical color pattern.

After adding your last 4mm faceted coin bead, loop the cord around the TierraCast ring to close off the necklace. Knot the cord. Wrap the cord around both knots at the top of the ring, knot again to the back of the necklace, and trim.

Make a tassel at the bottom of the ring by wrapping the cord around the bottom of the ring and knotting. Trim the cord to leave a 3-inch tail. Repeat four times. Wrap cord around all of the knots several times to keep them together. Knot and trim.

Add 12 4mm faceted coin beads to one of the cord tails and knot at the end of the beads. Trim the end of the cord to your liking. Unravel the small tail with your fingers to create a little fluff at the end of the beads. Repeat for the rest of the cords in the tassel.
