Desert Horizons Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of 24 gauge Vintage Bronze Artbeads Designer Wire approximately two feet long. Start with one end of the wire to the back of the Dakota Stones desert jasper 40mm donut pendant. Bring the wire through the hole of the donut.

Hold the center of a 20-inch length of Leather Cord USA 2mm coffee braided cotton bolo cord close to the top of the donut pendant. Bring the wire around the top of the donut pendant and over the cotton cord. Then, bring the wire back around the back of the top of the donut pendant. Go back through the hole of the donut pendant. Continue wrapping the wire around in this way to secure the leather to the donut.

Once you have about nine or ten wraps, make sure the end of your wire is to the back of the pendant. Trim and tuck the end of the wire into the wraps.

Slide three JBB antique vintage brass-plated pewter small round dotted spacer beads onto both ends of the leather. Slide the spacers down close to the donut pendant.

Add a JBB 3mm antique brass fancy crimp end cap with loop to each end of the leather and squeeze the middle of the crimp end down around the leather using chain nose pliers.

Attach each half of the TierraCast brass oxide pewter craftsman toggle set to each end of the necklace using an 8mm antique brass-plated open jump ring for each.
