Brass Chain Necklace with TierraCast Dangles

These TierraCast charms are a wonderful way to dress up delicate chain. They add some texture to the wonderful colors provided by the bead dangles.

Delicate chain gets a beautiful update with dangling TierraCast charms and beaded dangles. The charms are from TierraCast's Dulce Vida collection, so they display fabulous floral texture with a bohemian beauty. Switch up the colors of the beads to create a color palette you love. Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a length of antique brass-plated textured oval cable chain approximately 8-9 inches long, or however long desired for a necklace. Repeat. Attach each to a TierraCast brass oxide reversible small Flora ring link using a 6mm antique brass-plated open jump ring for each.

Attach a 12x7mm antique brass-plated trigger clasp to one end of the necklace using a jump ring. Add an extender chain to the other end of the necklace using a jump ring. Use a length of your brass oval cable chain for the extender chain. Attach a TierraCast brass oxide pewter reversible Flora petal to the end of the extender using a jump ring.

Cut a length of chain 2 1/2 inches long and another piece that is three inches long. Attach each to the ring link at the center of your necklace using a jump ring for each. Attach a Flora petal to the shorter chain using a jump ring. Attach a TierraCast brass oxide pewter reversible Jardin teardrop charm to the longer chain using a jump ring.

Add a fire-polished 4mm bead in turquoise AB to a TierraCast 2-inch 20 gauge brass oxide pewter head pin, followd by a TOHO 8/0 bead round in opaque dark yellow. Make a simple loop at the top of the bead. Repeat with a 4mm bicone in Fuchsia, followed by a TierraCast brass oxide pewter Kenyan heishi spacer bead. Repeat again with a 4mm bicone in Tangerine, followed by a heishi spacer bead. Open a jump ring and attach all of the dangles. Close the jump ring.

Repeat the previous step seven times, for a total of eight dangle jumbles.

Attach the dangle jumbles, the TierraCast brass oxide pewter reversible Jardin triangle charms, and the remaining Flora petal charms to the chain in a random fashion. Just open the jump ring of the dangle jumbles to attach those to the necklace. For the TierraCast charms, use two jump rings linked together.
