Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 18 inches long. Slide a 14K/20 gold-filled 2x2mm crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by a 6mm gold-plated 18 gauge jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Add the following pattern to the strand:

a yellow bicone from the 4mm Crystal Mix Cleopatra Gold Designer Blend
A turquoise bicone
A TOHO 8/0 Demi Round bead in gold-lined rainbow crystal
A gold pearl from the blend
A Demi Round
A turquoise bicone

Repeat the pattern three times, then add a yellow bicone to the strand.

Add a Demi Round to the strand, followed by a Czech glass 9mm turquoise silk with purple bronze finish hibiscus flower bead. Repeat four times.

Add a Demi round to the strand, followed by a Czech glass 12mm turquoise silk with bronze finish hibiscus flower bead. Repeat eight times. Make a mirror image of the patterns from steps three and then two to complete the strand. Slide a crimp tube onto the end, followed by a jump ring. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.

Cut a length of satin Hamilton gold-plated flat oval cable chain approximately 3 1/2 inches long. Attach it to the jump ring at one end of the necklace. Slide a gold pearl from the Blend onto a gold-filled 1.5-inch head pin and attach it to the end of the chain by creating a wrapped loop.

Cut a length of chain two links long. Attach it to the jump ring at the other end of the necklace. Attach a 12x6.5mm satin Hamilton gold-plated trigger clasp to the end of the chain using a jump ring.
