Have you ever wondered about how our designers think? In this Artbeads Cafe episode, you can watch our designers Cheri and Cynthia as they each make a pair of earrings. For her pair of earrings, Cheri started with beautiful Grace Lampwork beads that inspired the rest of the beads she used. They look beautiful dangling from simple sterling silver earwires.
Slide a Dakota Stones matte blue apatite 4mm round bead onto a 2 ½-inch 22 gauge sterling silver head pin, followed by a TierraCast antique silver beaded 6mm heishi spacer, a Grace Lampwork Rio de Janeiro matte roundel bead, and a purple bead from the Artbeads Creativity Designer Blend (You can also use a bead from the Dakota Stones Purple Crazy Lace Agate 6mm Round Bead Strand. Check our Perfect Product Pairings below). Make a wrapped loop at the top of the beads.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
