Dakota Stones offers gorgeous gemstone beads that will bring new life to your jewelry designs. This fun necklace combines fossil coral beads in various shapes with pieces from TierraCast's Botanical Birds collection. They work perfectly together as a backdrop for the beautiful porcelain hummingbird pendant showcased at the center of the design. Knotting the hemp cord between each bead adds an organic touch that works nicely with the nature theme.
Cut a length of brown hemp cord approximately three feet long. Fold the cord in half and bring the ends through the hole of the porcelain blue and brown bird in flight heart pendant by Raven's Journey. Bring the ends through the fold in the cord to cinch it up close to the pendant. The pendant should be approximately in the center of the two strands of cord.

Add three TierraCast brass oxide brass open round jump rings to the cord. Then, loop the cord around the opening at one end of a TierraCast brass oxide pewter Botanical branch link. Knot the cord to the link. Trim the long tail of the knot and keep it – you will use this cord to continue the necklace strand on the other end of the link.
Create a loop at the end of the cord and ensure it fits over the button on the other end of your necklace. Knot to secure the loop. Add a rondelle bead to the tail and trim to your liking. Knot the tail to keep the rondelle in place.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
