Beyond the Blue Horizon

Separate the seed beads of the Blueberry Pie Designer Seed Bead Blend by color. You are going to use the tubular herringbone stitch to create your bracelet. For help with tubular herringbone, refer to the Tubular Herringbone Diagram PDF. Each row will have six beads. Follow this color pattern for each row:

• One row of matte powder blue beads
• One row of silver-lined blue beads
• One row of transparent aqua beads
• One row of matte teal blue beads
• One row of matte opaque cobalt blue beads
• One row of matte teal blue beads
• One row of transparent aqua beads
• One row of silver-lined blue beads
• One row of matte powder blue beads
• One row of opaque sky blue beads

Continue this pattern until your bracelet is the desired length. We made our bracelet approximately seven inches long. Tubular herringbone is a flexible stitch that does stretch somewhat, so keep that in mind when making your bracelet.

Finish the last row of your bracelet with the brick stitch. Cut a length of silver fine French wire and add it to your exiting thread. Slide half of the sterling silver 8mm magnetic bead clasp over the French wire and bring your thread through the bead across from the one you are exiting to make a loop. Secure your thread within the weave of the beads and repeat for the other end of the bracelet.
