I used the Beadalon 3D Bracelet Jig to form the base of this bracelet and finished by wire-wrapping beads onto it.
The Beadalon 3D bracelet jig makes it easy to create continuous wire-wrapped bracelet designs. Artbeads designer Cheri created this fabulous look and incorporated crystal beads for a sparkling effect. The combination of blue, brown and copper colors reminds us of the fascinating colors found in the Mediterranean.
Place the pegs on the Beadalon 3D bracelet jig as shown. You will need an extra package of pegs to complete this project. For this project, every slot on the third row from each end will have a peg in it. Make sure to secure the pegs with the plastic tubes on the inside of the jig. The jig comes with instructions for further details on how to use the pegs with the jig.
Cut two pieces of the 20 gauge bare copper Artistic Wire approximately three feet each. Wrap a piece of wire once around a peg in one row, as shown and then wrap the other piece of wire once around the corresponding peg in the other row. Then, cross the wires over each other, with the right side over the left. Make sure to leave a tail on each wire that is approximately 2 to 2 1/2 inches long.
Wrap the wire on the left side around the peg and bring it over to the next peg up on the right side, as shown. Both ends of the wires should be on the right side, as pictured.
Wrap the first wire on the right side around the peg, then bring it over to the next peg up on the left side. Wrap the wire around this peg and bring it over to the next peg up on the right side. Position the ends as shown.
Repeat step four all the way around the jig.
When you get back to the beginning of the bracelet, position the wires as shown, with the wires crossed over the starting pegs. Do not trim or tie them off yet. If you want to make your bracelet shorter than the jig, don't wrap your wires all the way around the jig. Stop at the desired length. After the following steps, you can then cinch up your bracelet so that both ends of the bracelet meet.
Remove all of the pegs from the jig and carefully slide the bracelet off the jig, so that the loops on the edge of the bracelet line up with the open slots on the edge of the jig. Then, reposition the pegs to keep these loops in place on the edge of the bracelet, as shown.
Wrap and trim the outside ends of the wire around each other to finish the last loop on the outside edge of the bracelet.
Cut a piece of 24 gauge bare copper Artistic Wire approximately two feet long and wrap it onto a cross section in the center of the bracelet. Add an 8mm Mocca faceted round to the wire, then wrap the wire around the next cross section in the center. Add another Mocca round to the wire, wrap around the next cross section and continue this process all the way around the bracelet. Then, wrap the end of the wire to the cross section where you started and trim.
Remove the bracelet from the jig and wrap the remaining ends to each other and trim.
Cut a 2-foot piece of 24 gauge wire and wrap it to the bracelet, above one of the Mocca rounds. Add a 6mm Caribbean Blue Opal faceted round to the wire and wrap the wire to the bracelet above the next Mocca round. This will pull the loops of the bracelet close together around the blue bead. This will give the bracelet a domed effect and shrink the overall opening size of the bracelet.
Continue adding blue beads all the way around the bracelet on both sides to complete the design.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
