This sparkly bracelet is easy to put on and adjusts to a variety of wrist sizes thanks to a memory wire base.

Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Use memory wire shears to cut the Beadalon memory wire silver-plated flat large bracelet to the number of loops you want the finished bracelet to be. Our bracelet is five loops with the ends overlapping. Make a simple loop at each end of the bracelet, bending against the natural curve of the wire.

To create a heavily textured look like in our bracelet, cut a yard of 24 gauge silver non-tarnish Artistic Wire and coil it tightly at the base of one of the end loops on the bracelet. String a 6mm bicone in Light Rose onto the wire and hold it against the surface of the memory wire. Coil the wire three times around the memory wire to create a space for 4mm beads you will be adding later. Add a 8mm faceted round in Fuchsia to the wire and coil again. Repeat this process to cover the surface of the wire, adding 1-yard lengths of wire as needed. Coil the end of the wire around the base of the loop at the end of the bracelet.

Cut a new yard of wire and coil it tightly to attach it at the base of one of the end loops. Then, add two 4mm faceted rounds in Crystal AB to the wire. Position these beads between a 6mm and 8mm bead. Continue this process between each 6mm and 8mm bead and add new wire as needed to reach the end of the bracelet.

For a simpler version, just add the 6mm beads, 8mm beads and 4mm beads to the same wire. Coil once between each bead to secure it to the memory wire. You'll find lots more ideas for using flat memory wire in Katie's Memory Wire Made Easy booklet.
