Sometimes the simplest designs make the biggest statement. This bracelet uses only red leather and a couple of heart components to tell a sweet story. It's a great option for Valentine's Day and can be worn throughout the year. Learn how to make it right here

Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Cut a foot-long length of 1.5mm natural cyclamen round leather in half. Fold one section of the leather in half. Bend the fold of the leather over one side of the rhodium hammertone heart link and bring the ends of the leather through the loop. Pull tight. Repeat on the other side of the heart link with the other piece of leather.

Thread a 4x4mm sterling silver crimp tube onto both tails of leather on one side of the bracelet, followed by a sterling silver silver 6.10mm open jump ring. Bring the tails back through the crimp tube to form a loop around the jump ring. This is a tight fit, so if you need to you can flatten the tails with a pair of pliers and snip each tail at an angle to form a point. You can also use chain nose pliers to help push the leather through the crimp tube.

Adjust the leather on both sides of the bracelet to desired wrist size. Keep in mind, the clasp will add approximately 3/8 of an inch to the length. Flatten the crimps with chain nose pliers and trim the ends of the leather.

Attach the 12x6mm heart clasp to one end of the bracelet using another jump ring.
