Memory Wire Bracelet with Glass Bamboo Bead and Maple Leaf Charm
designed byCynthia Kimura
Approximate Size6 1/2-8 Inches
One of our customers wanted to see our glass bamboo beads used in a design. I love how the bead inspired the rest of the colors in this bracelet.
Beautiful ocean blues mix with bronze and gold tones in this memory wire bracelet. The glass bamboo bead makes a wonderful focal and Czech glass Forget-Me-Not flower beads create cute spacers full of texture. You'll love the Gardanne Beads maple leaf charm dangling at the end of the bracelet. Cynthia made this piece live on Facebook. You can watch her make it along with a matching earring idea here.
Add your beads to the wire in a random fashion. We used a mix of fire-polished 6mm beads in smoky topaz vitrail, gold-filled 3mm round seamless beads, TOHO 6/0 bead rounds in antique bronze, Czech glass 5mm California violet Forget-Me-Not flower beads, Swarovski 8mm faceted rounds in Indicolite, 6mm and 4mm fire-polished beads in Capri blue luster, and 6mm fire-polished beads in ColorTrends Saturated Metallic Shaded Spruce. When you reach the center of your middle coil, add the 16x7mm glass bamboo bead in deep aqua. Then continue adding a random mix of beads.
When you are pleased with your bead pattern, make a simple loop at the end of your bracelet.
Attach the Gardanne Beads Atlantic blend small enameled maple leaf charm to the loop at one end of your bracelet using a 925/10 silver-filled 6mm 18 gauge open jump ring.
Slide a gold-filled 3mm bead onto a 1 ½-inch 22 gauge sterling silver head pin, followed by a smoky topaz vitrail fire-polished bead, and another gold-filled round. Make a wrapped loop at the top of the beads. Attach this dangle to the loop at the other end of your bracelet using a jump ring.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
scheme—it’s up to you!
