I think the Swarovski Baroque Mirror is a wonderful complement for velvet ribbon. They are both elegant and opulent. I added bead embroidery around the mirror stone for a little more flair.
A sparkling Swarovski stone and seed bead embroidery are the perfect match in this gorgeous choker. The seed beads allow the crystal focal to stand out even more, while black velvet makes every color pop. Learn how to make this necklace to add some bead embroidery techniques to your repertoire. You can find more inspiration for creating little embroidery pieces that make your style stand out in this Artbeads Cafe episode.
Trim the bead backing close to the beads, making sure not to cut any threads. Cut a piece of black bead backing to the same size and use the brick stitch edge technique with Miyuki 11/0 round seed beads in Duracoat galvanized seafoam green to attach the black backing to the white backing.
Attach the hook of the JBB antique sterling silver flower hook and eye clasp to one end of the choker using a TierraCast silver-plated brass medium oval open jump ring. Attach the eye of the clasp to the other end of the necklace using three jump rings linked together.
Slide a Swarovski 6mm round pearl in Jade onto a 1 1/2-inch 22 gauge sterling silver head pin and make a wrapped loop at the top of the bead. Attach this dangle to the second jump ring on the eye of the clasp using three jump rings linked together.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
scheme—it’s up to you!
