Aleutian Range Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of 18 gauge Artbeads Designer Wire approximately two inches long. Bonnie used a few different colors of wire. You can use different colors or stick with just one color. Make a simple loop at one end of the wire and slide on a bead from the Artbeads Kindness Designer Gemstone Blend. Make a simple loop at the top of the bead. Repeat three times for a total of four links (Link A).

Simple Loop Tutorial

Cut a two-inch length of wire and make a simple loop at the end, add a bead from the blend, a TierraCast antique silver 3mm faceted spacer, and a bead from the blend. Make a simple loop at the top of the beads. Repeat three times for a total of four links (Link B).

Cut a two-inch length of wire and make a simple loop at the end. Add a bead from the blend, a TierraCast silver 5mm beaded heishi spacer, and a bead from the blend. Make a simple loop at the top of the beads. Repeat four times for a total of five links (Link C).

Cut a three-inch length of wire and make a simple loop at the end. Add three beads from the blend. Make a simple loop at the top of the beads. Repeat three times for a total of four links (Link D).

Cut a two-inch length of wire and make a simple loop at the end. Add a faceted spacer, a bead from the blend, and a faceted spacer. Make a simple loop at the top of the beads. Repeat seven times for a total of eight links (Link E).

Open the loop of one Link A and attach it to a ring of the TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter Intermix 4-rings link. Close the loop. Open the loop on the other end of Link A and attach it to a ring on the TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter Intermix 3-rings link. Close the loop.

Open the loop of one Link B and attach it to the ring next to Link A on the TierraCast 4-rings link. Close the loop. Open the loop on the other end of Link B and attach it to the same ring as Link A on the TierraCast 3-rings link. Close the loop.

Repeat steps 6-7 on the other side of the TierraCast 3-rings link.

Open the loop of one Link D and attach it to the top inner ring of the TierraCast 4-rings link on one side of your necklace. Close the loop. Then, connect links together at the end of Link D in this pattern to form a beaded chain:

Open the end loop on the last link and attach one half of the TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter floral toggle clasp. Close the loop.

Open the loop of one Link D and attach it to the top inner ring of the TierraCast 4-rings link on the other side of the necklace. Close the loop. Then, connect links together in this pattern:

• Link A
• One 3-rings bar link
• Link E
• Link C
• Link D
• Link E
• Link C
• Link C
• Link E

Open the end loop on the last link and attach the other half of the clasp. Close the loop.

Attach one Link C to the center loop of the 3-rings link at the center of your necklace. Open the loop at the bottom of this dangle and attach the TierraCast antique silver-plated pewter Intermix 1-ring link. Close the loop.
