Dakota Stones gemstones in sweet spring colors are the perfect backdrop for the cute sterling silver butterfly pendant.
Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately 22 inches. Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by half of the clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Add the following pattern to the wire:
Repeat this pattern six times, then add a beaded spacer and three bicones
Slide the first loop of the sterling silver rectangle butterfly pendant onto the wire. Then, add 7 bicones to the strand. Then, bring your wire through the second loop of the pendant. Use pliers to make sure the loops behind the pendant are completely closed. Then, make a mirror image of the bead pattern on the other side of the pendant.
Slide a crimp tube onto the end of the wire, followed by the other half of the toggle clasp. Bring the wire back through the crimp tube and crimp in place.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
