Wildhorse Picture Jasper
Wildhorse picture jasper is mined in the Owyhee Mountains on the border of Idaho and Oregon. It features yellow-browns, grays, and occasional veins of burnt orange. Picture jasper has a unique display of patterns that sometimes resemble pictures or landscapes. Jasper is colored by oxides of iron and displays wonderful contrasts in its banding, inclusions, and small circular patterns.
