Hand-painted focal beads are beautiful showcase pieces for jewelry designs, and often all you need to show them off is some nice chain for a necklace. This project uses a chain and findings set, making it even easier to create beautiful jewelry.
Cut a length of Artbeads Designer Wire approximately 3 inches long. Glue a Finial Bead onto the end of the wire using 5-minute epoxy adhesive and allow to dry.
Add the hand-painted focal bead to the wire and attach to a bail from the chain and findings set by making a wrapped loop at the top of the bead.
Cut a length of ball chain from the chain and findings set approximately 25 inches long. Slide the bail onto the chain and then add a ball chain connector to the ends of the chain.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
