This resilient FireLine braided bead thread is pre-waxed and created from highly durable material that doesn't stretch. Each spool contains 125 yards of thread and is rated to withhold up to 6 pounds of resistance. The smoke grey color will work great for designs with dark components. Use this versatile thread in all kinds of jewelry and craft designs including bead looming and weaving. We also offer cable thimbles and finishing with knots for an alternative method of securing your thread.
FireLine is not recommended for use with crimp beads or crimp tubes.
My go-to beading threadUnless I have a reason NOT to use Fireline 6lb. smoke, it's my go-to beading thread. I feel confident that anything I make with Fireline, including pieces using sharp-edged crystals, will hold up over time. The smoke color fades into everything but the lightest and clearest beads so I don't worry too much about thread being visible. And a thread burner easily terminates any ends that show.
