Blue chalcedony is a naturally occurring soft blue translucent stone. It is a member of the quartz family. These strands were cut into beads with some of the material the chalcedony was mined out of remaining, creating a unique "marbled" look. These beads feature a bold oval nugget shape. They will look like beautiful river rocks in your designs. Metaphysical Properties: Know in antiquity as the Speaker's Stone, this is said to be a gemstone of wisdom and benevolence.
Because gemstones are natural materials, appearances may vary from bead to bead. Each strand includes approximately 14 beads.
