Blue fossil coral has been dyed to enhance its fascinating appearance. It is a natural stone formed by ancient corals that have been replaced with agate over a long period of time, leaving flower-like patterns. Because of how it was formed, it also goes by the name agatized coral. This stone is not made from protected reef coral or precious coral.
