Wonder Nails

When creating a manicure with gel nail polish, you have to cure your nails under an LED or UV lamp between each coat of product/polish you use. Anna learned this tip by watching videos online. You can watch how Anna creates her nail art in our Nail Art Artbeads Cafe video. This is an excellent technique for super long-lasting manicures featuring charms and crystals.

Choose a base color for your manicure. We used a color block of red and white colors, but you can use any color for wearing underneath the crystals. Apply your base color.

Apply a layer of the Gummy Jelly LED/UV Diamonds Gel for nails. Do not cure under the lamp. Add a layer of the ShineE Gel Top Coat Sealer for nails. Do not cure under a lamp.

Add your chosen components from the Nail Art set in Comic Pop. You can add the crystal pieces all over on one or more nails or disperse them in a subtle pattern. Add your chosen flatbacks. Now you will cure your nails for double the amount of the recommended time. Repeat these steps for your other hand.

To remove gel nail polish, you need acetone or nail polish remover. Acetone works a little faster since it's stronger, but you can use whichever one you're more comfortable with. You will also need foil and cotton balls. Soak a piece of cotton for each finger with nail polish remover or acetone and place it onto your finger. Wrap with foil. Let your nails sit this way for about 15 minutes. This process will take 20-30 minutes if you do it one hand at a time, but it will go faster if you get some help. This should loosen up the polish and the crystals enough to gently peel them away or scrape off any remaining polish and crystals.
