Sweet Tooth Necklace Tutorial

Load a mix of TOHO 8/0 bead rounds in silver-lined dark pink opal and silver-lined milky baby pink into the Spin-N-Bead Jr. Then, load TOHO 8/0 bead rounds in silver-lined milky grapefruit into one of the Quick Change Trays. Load TOHO 8/0 bead rounds in silver-lined milky peach PermaFinish into the other Quick Change Tray.

Thread the curved big eye needle for the spinner onto a comfortable length of WildFire beading thread. Center the needle on the thread to create a double-strand.

Knot the ends of your threads onto one half of the Beadalon silver-plated 8mm No. 1 toggle clasp. Make a double knot for extra security.

Use the bead spinner to add pink beads to the thread. Watch our video tutorial to see how to use the Spin-N-Bead Jr. for this technique. You want to add about a 1 ½-inch section of pink beads.

Add the Quick Change Tray with the grapefruit beads to the bead spinner. Add a ½-inch section of grapefruit beads to the thread.

Add the Quick Change Tray with the peach beads to the bead spinner. Add a 1-inch section of peach beads to the thread.

Remove the Quick Change Trays and add a 2-inch section of pink beads to the thread. Then, bring your needle through the two threads, just after the last peach section of beads to form a loop in the thread with the pink beads.

Follow this pattern for the rest of the necklace, adding and removing the Quick Change Trays to the bead spinner when necessary:

• A 1-inch section of peach beads
• A ¾-inch section of grapefruit beads
• A 1-inch section of pink beads. Make a loop with this section.
• A 1 ½-inch section of peach beads
• A 1 ½-inch section of grapefruit beads
• A 1 ½-inch section of pink beads. Make a loop with this section.
• A 1 ¼-inch section of peach beads
• A 2-inch section of pink beads. Make a loop with this section.
• A 1 ¼-inch section of grapefruit beads
• A 1 ¼-inch section of peach beads
• A 1 ¾-inch section of pink beads

Tie the end of the thread to the other half of the clasp. Make a double knot and trim any excess thread.
