Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

You will be making a double flat spiral stitch to create this bracelet. Please watch our flat spiral stitch tutorial video for detailed instructions on how to complete this stitch.

Flat Spiral Rope Video Tutorial

To start, use two 5mm round pearls in Crystal Iridescent Dark Blue for the beads in the center of the stitch. Then, add four seed beads in any color from the Artbeads Iris Dark Blue Designer Blend, one 3mm round pearl in Crystal Iridescent Dark Blue, and four more seed beads (these beads will frame the center beads on either side within the stitch). Create the second row of the stitch to match the first row. Using the 3mm pearls in the center of the seed beads will help you remember where to connect both rows of the stitch. Again, if you need help with the second row of the stitch, watch our video tutorial.

Weave your needle into the body of the bracelet several times and make sure it is exiting out of a pearl on the end of your bracelet. Add five seed beads to the thread, followed by half of the TierraCast antique rhodium heirloom 2-loop clasp set and five more seed beads. Adjust the amount of seed beads in the loop to make your bracelet as long as you need it. Bring your thread back down through the pearl, then weave through the bracelet and back through the loop several times to strengthen it. Add a loop to the other row of the stitch on this side of the bracelet in the same manner, going through the other hole of the same clasp finding. Weave your thread through the bracelet to secure the thread in place and trim. Repeat this step for the other end of the bracelet.
