Use a size 2 saw blade and saw frame to cut the message out into a traditional ID tag shape. This should look like a rectangle with flat, elongated ends that gives you an 8-sided shape. Cut a second piece into the shape of a heart, approximately ¾ high and ¾ wide. Use a file to smooth the edges of both pieces.

Curve the tag shape using nylon jaw pliers to fit your wrist and round the heart using a dapping block.

Cut out two holes on the ends of each metal piece with a hole punch. File down the tag's holes into rectangle shapes and file the heart's holes for a smooth finish.

Thread one strand of multi greens hand-dyed silk through one of the tag's holes, and then thread the end back out the same hole. Thread one end of another silk ribbon through the other hole. Wrap it around the loop created by the first ribbon, and then bring it back through the second hole. Your two silk ribbons should now be intertwined behind the tag.

The heart will act as the clasp for the bracelet. First string the silk strands from one side of the bracelet through one of the holes on the heart. Leave about 5 inches of ribbon dangling after the heart. Wrap both sides of ribbon ends around your wrist. Once you have wrapped up to the heart insert the two ribbon ends from the opposite side of the bracelet through the open hole of the heart. Pull the ribbon ends around to the other side and tie them or tuck them in.
