With the Beadalon Tin Cup Knotter Tool, you can create a floating pearl design that's perfectly spaced out. Wyatt White from Beadalon used the tool to create these show-stopping earrings and you can see just how he makes them in this video tutorial. He even used wire and half-drilled pearls to create his own matching earring posts.
Cut a length of 22 gauge half hard silver-filled wire approximately six inches long. Use round nose pliers to make a small loop about 2/3 of the way down the wire, as shown in the video tutorial. Flatten the top ends of the loop with chain nose pliers. Make a bend on the shorter end of the wire for the front of the ear post. Bend the other end of the wire in the same manner in the opposite direction. Trim the front of the ear post long enough to allow for the 8mm half-drilled peal in Crystal Pearlescent White. Glue the pearl into place on the ear post using 5-minute two-part epoxy. Repeat for the other earring and allow to dry.
Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color scheme—it’s up to you!
