Grapes on the Vine Necklace Tutorial

Cut a length of jewelry wire approximately eight inches long. Crimp the end to the eye of the 1/20 14K rose gold-filled 1.5-inch 24 gauge eye pin using a sterling silver 2x2mm crimp tube.

Cut a length of WireLace 6mm grass ribbon and a length of WireLace 6mm copper ribbon approximately eight inches long each. Shape and stretch them with your fingers so that they are curvier and fluffier in appearance. Tie the ends of the WireLace strands in a knot. Poke the end of the eye pin through the knot. Then, bring the jewelry wire through holes in the knitted mesh of the two WireLace strands. Your jewelry wire and WireLace strands should be attached and match up in length.

String an 8mm round pearl in Blackberry onto the jewelry wire. Slide your jewelry wire through holes in the knitted mesh of the WireLace strands, so that a section of WireLace nests behind the pearl. Repeat this process 13 times. You can reshape your WireLace as you go to create a fluffier look.

Crimp the open end of the jewelry wire to an eye pin using a crimp tube. Tie the ends of the WireLace strands in a knot just above the eye of the eye pin.

Slide a JBB copper-plated pewter end cap onto an eye pin, to cover the end of the WireLace and jewelry wire. Add a 5mm round pearl in Copper to the eye pin and make a wrapped loop. Repeat on the other side of the necklace.

Cut a length of copper hammered-textured cable chain approximately five and a quarter of an inch long. Attach one end to a wrapped loop using a 5mm copper 20 gauge open jump ring. Add half of the JBB copper-plated pewter star-shaped flower toggle clasp to the end of the chain using another jump ring. Repeat this step for the other side of the necklace.
