Step-by-Step Instructions Expand All Steps

Add beads in pleasing patterns to three of the snowflake frames in the 9-inch 21 gauge snowflake frame 5pc pack. Add a clear rubber earwire clutch to the end of each spoke to keep the beads in place. Follow these patterns for the snowflakes shown here.

Small Snowflake

On the end of one of the spokes, make a simple loop so you can hang the snowflakes.

To combine two snowflakes together, loosen the rubber clutches so that there is some slack in the beads. Use craft wire to wrap the two frames together in the center. Cheri combined the medium and large snowflake in this manner. You can combine the snowflake frames in any way you like, or leave them separate (see images).

For the center of the combined snowflakes, string an 11mm Crystal Blue Shade cabochette onto a 3-inch 22 gauge sterling silver head pin. Use round nose pliers to initiate a large enough loop to fit around the wire wrapped snowflake center. Wrap the head pin around the snowflake and then wrap the end of the wire under the bead to finish.

When you are happy with the placement of your beads, use heavy duty cutters to trim the wire spokes so that the ends are flush with the rubber clutches. If you prefer, you can remove the clutches one at a time and finish the spokes with simple loops.
