Cocktail Ring with Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones and Epoxy Clay
TechniqueTwo-Part Epoxy Clay
Epoxy clay allows you to create a variety of looks. In this case we mounded it to create a dome. The ring would look very different if we kept the clay flat.
Bling out your finger with this fabulous ring. The domed design made out of Swarovski chatons and epoxy clay looks like a cupcake covered in shimmering frosting. This delicious treat may not be edible, but it sure is sparkly and easy to make Plus, it's completely calorie-free
Create a large dome out of the epoxy clay in the center of the Nunn Design antique silver-plated pewter ornate large circle frame adjustable ring.
Press a Swarovski Vintage Rose PP32 XILION chaton into the center of the top of the dome. Press a ring of Swarovski Black Diamond PP24 XILION chatons into the clay around the center chaton. Press Vintage Rose chatons into the clay around the Black Diamond chatons. Press Black Diamond chatons into the clay around the Vintage Rose chatons. Press in the last ring of Vintage Rose chatons around the bottom edge of the dome.
Add a small ball of epoxy clay to each section of the outer rim of the ring. Press a Black Diamond chaton into each ball.
Using a soft, dry paint brush, brush green mica powder onto the white epoxy clay to create a light, shimmering green effect. You can find a wide variety of mica powder colors at your local craft store. Let cure (harden) a minimum of 72 hours.

Nice choice! All or most of the products needed for this project are shown
below with quantities. Sometimes we sell out of components and aren’t able to order more from
the manufacturer (we know, it is very disappointing to us, too). Use the opportunity to mix up
the design and make it yours by substituting similar products or altering the entire color
scheme—it’s up to you!
